Chicago’s Magnificent Mile® and State Street are must-dos for any holiday strolling, of course. The store windows in Macy’s, the lights up and down Michigan Ave. But there are lots more places to explore over winter break, such as Oak Park, just west of the city.
Oak Park is famed for its historic districts, including many homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. If you haven’t been visited in a few years, head over to Oak Park’s Harrison Street Arts District, which was developed about ten years ago. Read more.
