Friday, May 7, 3 - 6 pm, MOTHER’S DAY GIFT DROP-IN

Drop by between 3 and 6 pm and make a Birthstone Bracelet as a special gift for your mom.  Design and string a bracelet using a variety of glass beads, a Swarovski crystal bead for your birthstone and a clasp.  Bracelets will be 7 ½” long unless you request a different length.  We’ll provide a box and wrapping paper so you can wrap and take home your special gift all ready to give!   For ages 6 and up.

$15.00 includes all materials.  Pre-registration is not required.

Friday, May 14, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, MOM’S NIGHT OUT

Give mom what she wants to receive - a gift certificate for a night out to make something beautiful for herself!  We’ll provide everything to make a single strand necklace with a gorgeous center bead, accent beads and small seed beads.  With tea and cookies, she will relax and enjoy the meditative powers of bead stringing!

$25 includes all materials.  Space is limited - pre-registration is recommended.

While mom is with us, the kids can be at Pamela Penney Textile Arts with their own creative endeavor. Located conveniently across the street at 130 Harrison, leave the kids there and know that they will have a great time while mom is enjoying herself at Bead in Hand.   The kids will have the opportunity to select from a few age appropriate felting projects.  All materials will be included in class fee - cookies too!  For ages 5 and up.

Saturday, May 15, 3 - 5 pm, MOTHER & CHILD BEAD TIME

Another great gift for mom - a gift certificate for a special afternoon with her child!  We’ll provide all they need for single strand necklaces with a center bead, accent beads and small seed beads.  They will have fun with each other while relaxing and stringing beads, and go home with lovely mementos of their afternoon together.  For ages 6 and up.

$40 for mother and child includes all materials.  Additional children are $18.  Space is limited - pre-registration is recommended.

Don’t delay - Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 9!  We will be closed that day - celebrating Mother’s Day with our families.
