Looking for another way to be
creatively generous this season?

Textile artists led by Pam from Pamela Penney Textile Arts have completed the “Crazy Community Crocheted Blanket.” This lap-sized afghan was started by the Crazy Crochet class held during the District’s October Arts Retreat Weekend (a part of ArtRageous Oak Park)!

The beautiful work of art will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to benefit Sarah’s Inn, a local organization dedicated to restoring and preserving the dignity and self-sufficiency of battered women and their families.  Sarah’s Inn is located in the Arts District and provides a broad range of comprehensive services in the areas of safety, prevention, intervention, advocacy, education and support.

We will be taking silent auction bids on the blanket from now until December 18.   Stop in the gallery to see the piece in person and to place a bid, or call Pam at 708.383.2602 or email her. This blanket would make a lovely gift!
