THE PARTY WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!   On Tuesday, February 24, the Oak Park Arts District hosted Mardi Gras on Harrison, a mini arts festival and charity fundraiser. Roughly 200 guests joined the revelry. They browsed the unique offerings of nearly 20 businesses from OPAD, sampled delicious food provided by Trattoria 225 and Briejo, indulged at the cash bar, bid on a Silent Auction items, and one lucky winner went home with the raffle grand prize — a set of $25 gift certificates to 20+ OPAD businesses. Thanks to our many old and new friends who helped make this event a success! And kudos to our host Craig Charlton, owner of Trattoria 225, and Karen Light for helping to make the event happen. Thank you, too, to Janet Emison of JE Images for photographing the event.

HOW ARE THE FUNDS BEING USED? We are excited to donate $1,000 to United Cerebral Palsy (www.ucpnet.org), a very worthy and enriching organization right here in our community. The rest of the funds will be used to help underwrite our annual arts festivals on Harrison Street. Your support helps keep Harrison Street a dynamic Oak Park destination!

THANKS FOR COMING!
