Arts Activities at What’s Blooming
Friday, 5/15 - 6-10 PM
Saturday, 5/15 - 12-8 PM
The arts festival will be taking place along the street and in the Arts District’s businesses. On Friday night, start out with dinner at one of our fine restaurants — we have a menu for every taste, from family-friendly to more sophisticated. Highlights include Burgers, Beer and Bands at Buzz Cafe, rustic Italian fare and wood-fired pizza from Trattoria 225, casual American food with a European flair from Eastgate Cafe, or “blue jeans meet black tie” upscale casual food at Briejo Restaurant.
After dinner, enjoy live music, listen to a potpourri of original fiction, poetry, and memoir writings from local authors, watch a Shabby Chic fashion show, view outstanding artwork of all kinds from Arts District artists and their guests, watch a glass-blowing demonstration and shop for one-of-a-kind gifts. We’re open until 10 pm.
